GIVEAWAY & Review: Festive Corpse Cosmetics

Hello Readers! For today's "Manicure Monday" indie-promotion post, I bring you a giveaway that features two full-size nail polishes from Festive Corpse Cosmetics.

According to her Etsy shop, Shannon's company is run out of Kalamazoo, Michigan! I am pretty excited to be once again reviewing a fellow Michigander's polishes! Festive Corpse Cosmetics carries nail polish from glitter toppers, shimmering jellies, to beautiful metallic all-over-color lacquers. She also works on custom polishes for customers.

I have purchased a couple of her polishes over the last few months, so I will be sure to post a full review on her other polishes later. Today I am discussing the two polishes that are up for grabs in the Rafflecopter giveaway at the bottom of this page.

Let's dig into the manicures!!

Outside in the sunlight
First up, we have "Masquerade Ball." I dabbed one thin coat over a black base. "Masquerade Ball" is an amazing glitter bomb! The polish was inspired by the movie "Labyrinth." It has a slight blue jelly tint to the base, along with holographic glitters, purple and red circles, teal glitters, and black and silver shreds. It was really easy to work with, and glided on pretty smooth even though the glitter volume is so thick. I think that just made the application better because you didn't need two coats or anything. This polish also dried quickly.

Not in direct sunlight

My pictures can't even grasp the sparkling disco-ball effect that this polish has! I kept this manicure on for a week because it was so mesmerizing!

Next we have a polish that Shannon made just for this blog post and giveaway! She will be offering it in her shop shortly after this post is published. She gave me the honor to name this gorgeous polish! What did I come up with, you ask?

*drum-roll, please...*

"Tequila Sunrise" by Festive Corpse Cosmetics
Here I show two thin coats of "Tequila Sunrise" over Sinful Colors "Hazard." This is a gorgeous shimmering peach polish base with pink, yellow and orange hex glitters. The application was easy and the polish dried fairly quickly for being a shimmering base polish. I used the dabbing method to maximize the amount of glitters that came off the brush onto the nail. This swatch also shows a clear top coat applied and cuticle oil. You can tell that I had to cut my nails down recently, but I am sorry for the nubs!

I also wanted to show you what the polish looks like over a white base and a black base. This is one thick coat of "Tequila Sunrise" applied onto the swatching sticks.

Shannon sells her handmade polishes at great prices, too! At her Etsy store, mini bottles (5mL) are just $3, and full sized bottles (12mL) are $6. They are all hand blended when ordered and are all 3-free polishes.

Follow her social media to find out about sales and new products!

Shannon was generous enough to also give all of you a coupon code for 15% off! Check that out!! Use coupon code: "KCBLOG33" at checkout when shopping in her Etsy shop.

On to the fun part, reader! We have put together a pretty neat giveaway for you today! One winner will receive a full size bottle of "Masquerade Ball" and a full size bottle of "Tequila Sunrise"
